Visit of Bishop John Packer

A photograph of the Right Rev'd John Packer

Sunday, 4th March

The Right Rev’d John Packer started his career as a priest in South Yorkshire, becoming suffragan Bishop of Warrington in 1996 and then became the first and only Bishop of Ripon and Leeds in 2000. He moved to the Diocese of Newcastle upon his retirement in 2014.

We are fortunate to have been offered a visit by Bishop John to St Michael’s on Sunday, 4th March at 9:30am. He will be happy to conduct a Service of Confirmation that day. Please have a word with our Vicar, Paul, or contact the office as soon as possible if you are interested in being confirmed.
