Setting God’s People Free

Setting God’s People Free (SGPF) is a programme of change to enable the whole people of God to live out the Good News of Jesus confidently in all of life, Sunday to Saturday, building up the whole people of God, with a confident faith and vision for the Kingdom of God, which is lived out in homes, schools, communities and places of work, and exploring vocation which is not limited to church roles.

Newcastle Diocese invites all lay people to find out more at three venues/dates, one of which is in our own Parish Hall. You need to book a place, but till then, please make a note of the date.

A Celebration of Wholeness and Healing

Sunday, 14th October, 6pm

On Sunday 14th October we will have one of our twice-yearly services using the Churches Ministry of Healing. A Celebration Of Wholeness And Healing will replace Evensong at 6.00pm and will include, for those who wish, the Laying on of Hands and Anointing. Many have commented on the beauty and devotional nature of this service.  Do come along whether to pray for healing for yourself or for someone whose troubles you carry in your heart

St Michael’s Bake Off

On Sunday, 21st October St Michael’s is hosting a Bake Off for young people as part of our youth group activities. Newcomers are always welcome to the group, which meets in the Parish Hall from 3:30-5pm. Just bring a recipe and ingredients!
