Staying Connected

Following the Sunday service, at 10:45am, we will enjoy a virtual get together over coffee, via Zoom. If you would like to join us for this, please email Andrew Duff on duffandrew@btinternet.com for the meeting ID, password, or for any quesr Home page tions about using Zoom.

In addition to this, we also have some groups meeting for fellowship and to pray Compline together on weekday evenings via Zoom – if you would like to know more about these or join in, please contact us.

St Michael’s prayer chain  If you have any requests for particular prayer our prayer chain would love to hear them. Contact Paul, Veronica or Annette to start them praying!

On Monday August 9th 2021 the 10 new bells were delivered and  were on display in the church for all to see before they were lifted into the belfry.  At 7pm there was a short service of blessing by The Very Revd. Mark Wroe, Bishop of Berwick.

On St. Michael’s Day 29th September 2021 the bells rang out before and after the 7pm Service of Dedication by Bishop Mark.

Two of the three old bells are on permanent display in the south aisle along with some of the grafffiti from the old lead roof covering. Please see our Belltower page for further details.

On Saturday 28th August 2021 we held a plants stall in the market place. Our thanks to eveyone who helped and bought.

On Saturday 23rd October there will be a Climate Action Day in the Northumberland Hall.   There will be more details later but please make a note of the date.

We will hold our Winter Market again this year on Saturday 20th November 2021 in the church. Raffle tickets will be available soon !

After a long break due to Covid restrictions ST MICHAEL’S MOTHERS’ UNION will resume meeting from November.  We will have a short service in church followed by an informal gathering on Wednesday 10th November at 2.00pm.  We hope to see existing members and extend a warm and sincere invitation to others to join in our small but friendly group.

On Wednesday 8th December at 10.05am our Mother’s Union branch will, as usual, host the ALNWICK DEANERY ADVENT SERVICE.
